Winter 2026 National Signing Day

National Signing Day is the day when high school student-athletes officially commit to playing college sports by signing a National Letter of Intent with a college or university. This document makes their agreement binding, meaning the athlete agrees to attend the school and the school agrees to provide athletic scholarship support (if offered). National Signing Day is important because it marks the culmination of years of hard work, training, and recruiting for athletes, while also allowing colleges to formally secure their incoming players. For many students, it represents a major academic and athletic opportunity and a significant step toward their future goals.
